Looking for an exciting opportunity to represent your city & county by providing visitors with an exceptional experience? Look no further than the Waterford Welcome Ambassador Programme! 

We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as ambassadors for Waterford City & County. 

Volunteering takes place in Waterford City & County. You will be asked on the application which area you are interested in serving as an ambassador for. As a Waterford Welcome Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to:

• Give a warm welcome to our visitors. 
• Promote Waterford?s unique culture and heritage. 
• Provide information about our local amenities and events.
• Provide recommendations and directions for local points of interest. 
• Assist visitors and provide exceptional customer service. 

Volunteers are expected to commit to a minimum of 6 months to make the most of this volunteer experience.

There will be an induction training session that must be attended before commencing the programme. 

There will also be other training and information session opportunities available before & during this year’s Welcome Ambassador Season, all details of such events will be published at a later date.
