Waterford Volunteer Centre uses WordPress as our website platform. Any personal data that we collect through our website merely passes through, and is stored in our CRM platform, Salesforce. Salesforce data servers for Ireland are located in the EU.
Short term recording of data such as registration for events is stored in WordPress. WordPress has servers that are based within Europe. We also use Mediahelm Ltd for the hosting of our website, and they use servers in the USA.
Our lawful ground for processing your personal data to send you service-related communications is either your consent or our legitimate interests (namely to inform you of our services). You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any message sent to you or OR by emailing us at info@volunteerwaterford.ie.
If you opt out of receiving messages this opt-out does not apply to personal data provided as a result of other transactions, such as registration for training etc..
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
If we have not had any contact with you for six years we will automatically delete all your data.
