If you are registering from outside Ireland please be aware that your application cannot be processed. We are only able to work with people who are resident in Ireland.

Waterford Volunteer Centre drop-in service is open every Tuesday and Thursday
from 11.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm .
Please be aware that if you apply for a volunteer role with children or vulnerable adults you will be subject to Garda Vetting as part of the application process. You can view a one-page document that explains the process here.
Garda Vetting Explainer for Volunteers
You must have a current Irish, UK or EU Driving Licence, or a current Passport to be vetted!
Without one of these it will not be possible to apply for a such a volunteer role.
If you are from another country or an Irish person who has spent more that six months in another country you may be asked for Police Clearance from there, as well as Garda Vetting. This depends on the individual policy of the organisation. You will be informed of this requirement during the recruitment process.
