The Volunteer Trustee Development Network is running this Risk Management Masterclass for network members. A limited number of places are available to non-network members. See below for more details.
Our practical workshop is designed for those who are new to risk management. In plain language, we’ll show you what risk really means in everyday work, how to spot the biggest threats early, and how to put simple, realistic controls in place that protect your organisation without slowing you down.
You’ll leave with:
A clear understanding of the main risks small charities face (safeguarding, finances, data, volunteers, reputation, compliance).
A simple way to prioritise what matters most and decide what to do about it.
Practical tools you can use straight away, including a basic risk register template.
Confidence to explain risk to your board, funders, and team.
Don’t wait for a crisis to learn this. The cost of doing nothing can be far higher than an a couple of hours spent getting ahead of it.
Priority will be given to members of the Volunteer Trustee Development Network and registered volunteer involving organisations in counties Waterford and Wexford. You will be notified if you have been allocated a place.
Please note that for funding purposes you will be required to complete a pre-registration form if you are allocated a place.
