Risk Management Masterclass

The Volunteer Trustee Development Network is running a Risk Management Masterclass for network members.

This training is aimed at all of those working in the community and voluntary sector and includes Not for Profits, Charities, Voluntary run agencies and social enterprises. It is designed to give the audience a practical understanding of risk management and how to rate risk across the organisation with the aim of keep all persons and the organisation safe.

FREE FOR FOR CHARITIES AND VOLUNTEER-INVOLVING ORGANISATIONS

A limited number of places are available to non-network members. However, due to GDPR regulations all participant organisations must be  registered with either the Waterford or Wexford Volunteer Centres.

This training is funded by Training Links.

This training will equip trustees and decision-makers with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively identify, assess and manage risks that could impact their charities ability to achieve its objectives.

The Volunteer Trustee Development Network, funded by Training Links, is running a training event for board trustees or those with leadership responsibilities in voluntary/not-for-profit organisations.

This network is made up of organisations at every stage of development, from new, community-based organisations representing  local initiatives and common interest, to registered charities and CLGs. Therefore, the training will cover the basic aspects of organisational leadership and governance, as well as more advanced information regarding the legal context of charities and and their boards.

Priority will be given to members of the Volunteer Trustee Development Network and registered volunteer involving organisations in counties Waterford and Wexford. You will be notified if you have been allocated a place.

Please note that for funding purposes you will be required to complete a pre-registration form if you are allocated a place.
