National Volunteering Week 2026

Celebrate National Volunteering Week 2026

18th–22nd May 2026

National Volunteering Week is a chance to celebrate the incredible contribution volunteers make in communities across Ireland every day.

This year’s theme, “From every corner, for every cause,” highlights the many different ways people give their time, skills, and energy to support others and strengthen communities.

Volunteers from Waterford – Stories that Inspire

As part of this year’s celebrations, we are delighted to launch our new booklet featuring real stories from volunteers across Waterford.

These inspiring stories showcase the impact volunteering has on people, organisations, and communities throughout the county.
