In conjunction with Flossie and the Beach Cleaners and Waterford Council we are organising a clean up on Clonea Strand on Sunday the 19th February. We will meet at 11.00am at Ballinclamper Car Park and work our way up to the Clonea Castle end of the Beach. You will need to be able to get to the meeting point as we are unable to provide transportation.
We will supply gloves and a limited number of littler pickers (for those who are less bendy) but please bring your own if you have them.
Beach cleaning is a fun way to get some exercise and to do some good for your community and for the environment. Unless the weather is really appalling this event will go ahead, so outdoor clothing and strong footwear will be advisable.
