The Volunteer Trustee Development Network is running a Facilitation Skills Workshop for network members.
This workshop is aimed at people working in the community and voluntary sector and includes Not for Profits, Charities, Voluntary run agencies and social enterprises. It is designed to give community leaders (such as committee members, decision-makers and facilitators) or those who would like to be a practical experience of facilitation that will equip them with the mindset, skills, and competencies necessary to effectively facilitate groups and meetings.
A limited number of places are available to non-network members. Network members will take priority.
Due to GDPR regulations all participant organisations must be registered with either the Waterford or Wexford Volunteer Centres.
As well as providing some foundational knowledge about the influence of personality on how groups work, you will learn many useful skills, such as how to:
Helen has over 30 years’ experience supporting leaders and managers in a broad range of sectors, including health, education, national and global businesses, international development aid and foreign policy, arts, finance and international and national nongovernmental organisations.
She works with leaders and organisations to develop and grow, to define and focus on priorities, overcome challenges, and drive accountability for themselves and their organisations. She works with Boards, senior teams and individual leaders acting as a sounding board, critical friend, the guide on the side who supportively challenges, creating safe space for crucial conversations.
Now in her 21st year consulting, Helen totally enjoys here work, is passionate about making a real difference to the organisations and team with whom she works. Priority will be given to members of the Volunteer Trustee Development Network and registered volunteer involving organisations in counties Waterford and Wexford. You will be notified if you have been allocated a place.
