Waterford Volunteer Centre is delighted to invite you to a special celebration on Thursday, 4th of December 2025 — marking both International Volunteers Day and the public launch of our new home at 21 O’Connell Street.
This event celebrates the volunteers and organisations who make Waterford such a vibrant and caring community, while also opening the doors of our new premises to the public for the very first time.
Whether you’re a current volunteer, part of a community organisation, new to Waterford, or simply curious about getting involved, you are warmly welcome.

4:30 p.m. — Public Launch & Open Doors Gathering at Waterford Volunteer Centre
Be among the first to explore our new Centre during this relaxed and welcoming open evening.
Meet the team, connect with volunteers and organisations, enjoy light refreshments, and learn about upcoming opportunities and programmes.
6:00 p.m. — Free Public Street Concert & Celebration
Continue the celebrations outside Tully’s Bar with a free street concert hosted in partnership with Winterval Waterford.
Expect music, community spirit, and a festive atmosphere for all ages.
