Buíon

Buíon Phort Láirge is looking for volunteers who have qualifications and/or experience in Portable Appliance Repair or small-scale clothing, jewellery or furniture repair, to assist with the development of a Repair Café in Waterford. 

A Repair Café encourages people to repair items, if possible, to reduce consumption and increase re-use and recycling. 

The Repair Cafe currently takes place on the second Saturday of each month, at Manor St. John Community Centre in Lisduggan. We invite volunteers to support the event from 11.30am to 2pm on the day of the Repair Cafe. Join us and share your skills with the community, help people save money and reduce waste, and be part of this movement to create a greener, more sustainable circular economy in Waterford.
