Tuesday 21st  - Coffee and Catch ups in the Waterford Volunteer Centre 

12 -2 pm – Volunteer Leaders Coffee 

Join us for a break in the middle of the day for an informal peer discussion. This is a great opportunity to share about triumphs, challenges, and plans. All paid and unpaid volunteer leaders/managers/coordinators are welcome!

5-7 pm – Volunteers Coffee 

Are you volunteering or are you just thinking about it? Drop into the Waterford Volunteer Centre to share and learn about volunteering opportunities in Waterford. All new, old, and future volunteers are welcome.  

Wednesday 22nd - Pop-up Volunteer Centre in Dungarvan 

11 am-1 pm, Dungarvan Library 

Volunteer Leaders Coffee:  Are you working with volunteers or plan to do so? Join us for a midday networking session at the Dungarvan Library! Let’s get to know each other and the Waterford Volunteer Centre Services better.

Thursday 23rd  – Introduction to Garda Vetting Webinar 

11.00am – 11.45am, Online 

Our Introduction to Garda Vetting Webinar is for organisations considering the Garda vetting of volunteers. This FREE webinar is a basic introduction to what vetting is, who should be vetted, and the steps you need to take to register your organisation.  

If your volunteers work with children or vulnerable adults, then it is quite likely that you should be vetting them. If your organisation needs vetting, or if you are not sure whether you need vetting then this webinar is for you.

Friday 24th –  Star Weavers workshop and coffee morning 

10.30am – 12.30am, Waterford Gallery of Art 

Whether you are a Star Weaver, you are interested in volunteering, or you just want to make some Friday morning arts and crafts this event is for you! We aim to weave 32,000 stars in Waterford County to show support against domestic violence throughout the year. At this workshop, you can get to know the project, try out star weaving and meet our volunteers.    

Drop by or stay for the whole workshop. We will wait for you in the Gallery!

Participants from Waterford City will have priority, but depending on availability, there may be additional spaces for participants from Waterford County.

If you participate in and complete the program, you will be eligible to use this as a pledge for the Business Pledges. Limited spaces available.
